Um, Kara, it's not odd at all for you to love that floor... my husband loves it, too... it's distressed hickory and absolutely beautiful!
Where is this beautiful house?? I'm just curious...one day you might find a lean-to against your kitchen island and you'll find me inside, trying to claim squatter's rights.
